As I was reblogging this, I wanted to give credit to both worldofwinn and contemplatingthesky since those are both AWESOME BLOGS. And while doing so, an enormous millipede fell from the wall onto my keyboard and I hit the letter g instead of w, producing a recommendation for worldofginn. Which makes Winnie sound like a big old drunk, which she most assuredly is not.
I like snakes (we had two pet boa constrictors for a year) but I cannot stand an insect. It is pathetic. I lived in the Amazon Jungle as a child, and I will shriek and leap onto the bed if I see a tiny little spider.
